It was a massive game for United who are coming into this game on the back of getting knocked out of FA Cup on monday night.
United failed to break down incredibly defensive mind FC Rostov who had 11 men behind the ball for most of first 45 minutes.
United who came into this game on the back of yet another disappointing 1-1 draw at home in premier league. But United’s overall form in all competitions have been absolute top notch.
However FC Rostov present a different challenge with long-haul flight with not much time between games and combine that with a very difficult opponent who defeated Bayern Munich and drew with Atletico Madrid at home. As far as United are concerned any positive result with a good outing as United can tackle the tie back home.
